I will finish this piece by sharing with you a couple of responses from the people I
have been writing to.
One of my most recent letters was the one to Alex at the beginning of this article.
Alex was in high school and struggling to fit in. The letter with the more subtle
invitation resulted in Alex wanting to see me in a session. We only had one
conversation about the troubles that he encountered in school, and after our
session I asked him and his dad if they would write a bit about their experience
with my invitation.
