Then we would make a video with you talking about it so I could
show it to other kids and their parents. Did you know I am going to
America early next week?
Mother:
Yes, we do.
David:
Do you think you can do it by then, Dustin?
Dustin:
Yah. (Spoken with eagerness)
David:
Are you sure?
Dustin:
Yah.
David:
You'll do it for money? Well, money is a very good motivator. It
motivates a lot of people.
Mother:
It sure does.
David:
So, how you could earn this is to teach me and through me, and this
(pointing to video recorder), you can teach many other people
around the world, because I will take it with me. I will show it, with
your and your parents9 permission, to people I will be teaching in
Texas and California about children's problems. And one of the worst
and most costly problems for children is asthma, as you all know only
too well. Is that OK?
Dustin:
(Grinning in anticipation) Yep.
I also seek his parents9 consent for such a project, and they are only too happy to
give it. As we have now been meeting for almost two hours, we resolve to take
this matter up first thing the next day. I suspect that each and every one of us
found it somewhat hard to sleep at night. That was certainly the case for me. I
could not wait to find out how he could have possibly gone for such a period of
time without any hospitalisations, as well as controlling any symptoms of asthma
such as wheezing.
