another country. The paths of migration are not easy paths, or at
least they are somewhat unusual paths. Is your personal background
similar to hers, or is it different? If it's different, how might it help
you to think about it? Or would you prefer to think about women in
general within the family, and more specifically, women who work?
Because you mentioned that people could count on you. Would you
be interested in thinking about this, about the pressures women are
facing? Women like you, like Sophie, all women who are working
mothers, wives, etc. The pressure they feel to be strong and to be as
strong at home as they are at work. Is this something you might be
interested in exploring?
I had two ideas here: consider that her life is different from her mother's and see
what that might change for Sandrine. Or discuss the place of women in our
modern society and the pressure to remain strong. I didn't quite understand the
answer I got, but I didn't really have time to ask any more questions. However,
throughout this exchange, Sandrine very often said that she 8talked to Sophie
about it9. I sometimes felt a bit useless & But I didn't take offence, imagining how
much Sandrine would appreciate, thanks to me, that Sophie remembered her
stories, showing that she had listened to her. Perhaps my job should be more to
show that Sophie listened, understood and acknowledged, to the point of 8acting it
out9, rather than finding new ways to move forward.
Sophie9s Sandrine: Yes, I remember talking to Sophie about a family with a child
who had been in social care a lot, a family with a lot of problems, and
because they didn't have the means, and the mother had a lot of
problems, she was said to be dysfunctional. There were a lot of
problems with the mother, but she was there, and sometimes when
she came back, she was there for the child. At one point, I decided
that I had to give her back her consideration, that I had to work with
