Sandrine directly through you. Can you try to imagine that, for the
duration of this conversation, you are Sandrine & It might be
important to close your eyes; it will take you somewhere else, back
to the conversations you've had together & Is that OK?
Sophie:
Yes.
Even though Sophie knew the process I presented to the group beforehand, I found
it important to set the scene to get her in the right frame of mind. It was also
important to allow Sophie to settle into Sandrine's shoes. I don't know anything
about hypnosis, but I think the beginning of the conversation is a bit like that.
Catherine: Sandrine, I'm very honoured to meet you. Sophie told me a little
about you, but I don't know much, except that you live with this
8unexplained anxiety9 that you both call 8poison,9 or at least that you,
Sandrine, call 8poison.9 From the work you've started with Sophie, I
also know that this 8unexplained anxiety9 starts as soon as you wake
up and that it's not very understandable to you, given that your life is
otherwise great. But what's also troubling Sophie is the impression
that it's gotten worse from one session to the next. She told us about
the effects it has on you: this 8unexplained anxiety9 prevents you
from going out on your own and from making appointments. Sophie
feels that it is actually getting worse. And that's why she talks about
going round in circles. Sandrine, what makes you come back to see
